He listened carefully to all of my medical history and was so thorough in his analysis of what could potentially be causing the issues with my bowel and stomach. He was so knowledgeable , yet able to explain the issues in a simplistic way to lay people. He filled both myself and my husband with lots of confidence.

I was seen by Dr Ram at the Spire Cheshire. From the very first appointment with him I felt so heard, and in good hands. I've many experiences over the years of Drs trying to rush me out the door, making me feel like issues have all been in my head and getting told I shouldn't have issues for 'my age' or 'as a girl' and not been looked into. Dr Ram told me, I don't want the short version, give me the full story - it's not too long, I want to help. He never spoke down to me or came across as condescending or patronising, instead, he explained everything thoroughly to me ensuring I understood what it all meant and making sure if I had any questions. I have felt so looked after with Dr Ram and am so grateful for the level of care he has provided, which has now resulted in finally being able to get on the road to being better :) Thanks Dr Ram, you're the best!!

Dr Ram was so calm and supportive at a time when I felt scared and vulnerable about my health. He listened to all of my concerns and came up with the plan. He fully explained what was going to happen and was very knowledgeable. Having a specialist who knew what they were talking about made me feel I was in capable hands. Like most patients going through this procedure for the first time, I experienced a range of emotions. Dr Ramakrishnan is great subject matter expert and a wonderful consultant both in terms of his surgical skills and his ability to communicate clearly and openly with his patients. Throughout the entire process, from initial consultation, through to surgery and follow-up, he was always clear and entirely honest, taking whatever time was necessary to reassure or answer questions. My procedure was a great a success thanks to Dr Ram and his team.

I would highly recommend Dr Ramakrishnan, my first consultation was in November 2022 where I was in a low condition with severe iron deficiency. Dr Ramakrishnan, put me at ease straight away giving me the reassurance he would help me back on the right health road and this he has done. I felt completely safe in his hands and I thank him for all the thorough tests and reassurance he has given me. I felt listened to and that he had a genuine interest in getting me better. On a number of occasions he would see me at short notice and took appropriate action for further tests to ensure he understood my condition at that point. In summary, such a kind and caring consultant who is clearly experienced and knows exactly what he is doing to help his patients on the road for recovery to a healthy version of them.
